Welcome to geography 481/578 for the Spring, 2012 semester. GIS is become a rapid paced discipline and I wanted to keep you all abreast of what's happening out there and to give you an opportunity to keep me current as well. The primary reasons for this blog are two-fold then:News and events: sharing new technologies, new applications, exciting happenings in geographic information science and technology (GIS&T).
